Lahore: The Zimbabwe cricket team confirmed on Wednesday that it will visit Pakistan in October and November for limited matches after obtaining permission from its government.
According to the details, Zimbabwe will participate in three full-time international competitions (ODI) and more than 20 international competitions (T20Is) from October 30 to November 10. Tourists will arrive in Islamabad on October 20.
The 50 matches against Zimbabwe-part of the ICC Cricket World Cup Premier League-will be held in Multan on October 30, November 1 and 3, followed by November 7, 8 and 10. T20I in Valpindi.
ICC has introduced the Super League to provide background information for ODI cricket and will become a qualification for the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup. The top seven places will automatically book places for Indian events.
With 13 teams composed of 12 test countries and the Netherlands, the Chinese Super League will see the two sides play four home and four away three games respectively.
Zimbabwe Cricket tweeted, “IT’S OFFICIAL! The Government of Zimbabwe has granted @ZimCricketv the permission to tour Pakistan for a limited-overs series scheduled for October-November.”
