Zardari demands govt to take parliament into confidence over Israel contact matter


Karachi: Asif Ali Zardari, co-chair of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), asked the current government on Tuesday to have full confidence in the parliament’s engagement with Israel.

In an interview with the media, the former president stated that the Pakistan Justice Movement (PTI) government has failed to perform its duties. He said that the situation in Afghanistan has become dangerous and may also affect Pakistan.

On the other hand, Asif Ali Zardari appeared before the Accountability Bureau in a suspicious transaction worth 8 billion rupees.

At the hearing, the court allowed the former president to withdraw from the proceedings after appearing in court.

According to reference materials, an illegal transaction of 8 billion rupees was conducted through Mushtaq Ahmed’s bank account, and the money paid to the private housing association was used to purchase real estate.

The reference pointed out that these properties belonged to Zardari.
