Karachi: The authorities will resume the work to remove the cargo ship MV Heng Tong 77 stranded at Karachi’s Sea View today (Thursday).
Officials from Karachi Port Trust (KPT) stated that they were unable to dismantle the ship earlier due to technical reasons. However, they added that this work will resume at any time today.
With the help of heavy machinery, the ship will be pushed back to the sea.
In July, the Pakistani Navy and other maritime shareholders completed the cargo ship’s oil unloading procedures.
What needs to be mentioned here is that when the ship anchored to the shore due to irregular waves, it docked in the territorial waters of Pakistan to change its crew.
