Railway Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that if Prime Minister Imran Khan allows it, train services will be partially restored from April 15.
In an interview with the media in Lahore, the minister said the public has always insisted on restoring train services, but Pakistani railways will inevitably be blocked by the government.
He added that if PM is allowed, the freight train service will resume from April 15 and all safety and preventive measures will be taken.
Federal Minister Sheikh Rashid further urged “angry friends” to stop politicizing the coronavirus problem and unite to win the battle.
He went on to say that certain factors are not conducive to Pakistan’s development.
