ISLAMABAD: Science and Technology Minister Fawad Chaudhry on Monday has revealed that all the members of Federal Cabinet are not in favor of removing ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s name from Exit Control List (ECL).
The minister stated in the statement that the federal cabinet did not receive any abstracts about this. He clarified that the approval of the cabinet must be approved to exclude the name of the former prime minister of the ECL, so that he can go abroad for medical treatment.
Fawad Chaudhry also stated that he also opposed the decision to send Nawaz Sharif to London and criticized the Pakistani Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) for not building a family. The hospital, its top leader, can receive satisfactory treatment.
He added that if I were in the Nawaz residence, I would rather die than say that Pakistan does not have my standard hospital.
On the other hand, a committee under the supervision of the Legal Department will make a proposal to remove the name Nawaz Sharif from the ECL during the federal cabinet meeting on 12 November.
According to sources from the Prime Minister’s Office, the Prime Minister’s office or the Ministry of the Interior cannot remove the names according to the ECL’s proper procedure.
