US Dollar slips to Rs 163.30 in Interbank market

Karachi: The U.S. dollar fell by 36 paisa against the Pakistani rupee in the interbank market on Tuesday.

The dollar closed at Rs 163.30 after falling 1.59 rupees in the last three trading days of the day. The appreciation of the rupee reduced Pakistan’s debt burden by 175 billion rupees.

The US dollar surged to Rs 164.89 on June 2 after the interbank market gradually fell to Rs 163.30 on Friday.
