US adds 1,680 coronavirus deaths as global cases top 4.5 million

Washington: According to the latest real-time statistics from Johns Hopkins University on Friday, the United States recorded 1,680 coronavirus deaths in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of severe deaths to 87,493.

The school in Baltimore reported that the country was the country with the worst number of deaths due to the pandemic, and a total of 1,442,924 cases have been confirmed.

In Europe and the United States, more than 4.5 million cases of new coronavirus have been officially discovered worldwide, of which more than three-quarters are infected.

At least 4,503,811 infections have been reported worldwide, including 305,424 deaths. Europe is the hardest hit region, with 1,848,790 cases and 164,145 deaths.
