Washington: According to the latest real-time statistics from Johns Hopkins University on Saturday, the United States recorded 1,237 coronavirus deaths in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of severe deaths to 88,730.
The Baltimore-based school reported that the country-the hardest hit by the pandemic in terms of death toll-has now confirmed a total of 1,466,682 cases.
