SKARDU: The informal results of the 2020 Gilgit-Baltistan election show that Pakistan’s Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has won 3 seats so far, leading in 9 constituencies, followed by PPP , Leading in 7 constituencies.
Voting for the Gilgit-Baltistan parliamentary election has ended without any major interference, and the counting of votes is currently in progress.
The polling starts at 8 am and continues until 5 pm without any interruption.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Muslim League (Q), Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) are among the parties contesting for the 23 constituencies of the GB assembly.
More than 1,160 polling stations have been established worldwide, of which 418 are declared very sensitive and 311 are sensitive. 330 candidates from 23 electoral districts participated in the election.
With more and more influx, informal and unconfirmed results of GB conference seats have been received.
