Unannounced power outages continue as shortfall reaches 4000MW

Lahore: As the power shortage has reached 4,000 MW, unannounced power load shedding continues across the country.

According to detailed information, there is a power outage for five to seven hours in urban areas and eight to ten hours in rural areas.

The local people asked the relevant authorities to solve this problem because their daily work was affected by the power crisis.

On the other hand, power production at Tarbela and Mangala Dams has reduced by 3300 megawatts.

The spokesperson of the Electric Power Department has pledged to resume the power supply process within a few days. He added that the power shortage is 1500MW.
