Islamabad’s National Anti-Terrorism Agency (NACTA) has issued threats to Peshawar and Quetta, saying that Pakistan’s banned militant group Threek-e-Taliban plans to carry out terrorist activities in these two cities .
The authorities’ statement stated that the TTP aims to carry out bomb attacks and suicide bombing attacks against religions and political parties.
It said that according to such reports, on October 21, the terrorist plot in Balochistan was thwarted. He said that during the operation conducted by Qamar Din Karez, eight explosive devices were found.
NACTA said: “These materials will be used in the attacks in Quetta and Peshawar.”
The authorities have recommended strict security measures in Quetta and Peshawar to avoid any unfortunate incidents.
