Islamabad: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmoud Qureshi said on Monday that the suspension of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) visa to Pakistan is temporary and will end soon.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi spoke to the media that the government is working to solve the problems of the Pakistani community in the UAE. He said that he has briefed the UAE Foreign Minister on Kashmir.
The minister said that he discussed with the UAE leaders the role of Pakistan in the Afghan peace process, listened to the UAE’s position in relations with Israel, and expressed Pakistan’s clear position on this issue.
He said that until the Palestinian issue is permanently resolved, Pakistan has no pressure to admit that Israel and Islamabad cannot establish any ties with Tel Aviv. Qureshi said that India is promoting terrorism and using the territories of other countries against Pakistan.
