Sugar price rises to Rs 115 per kg


Islamabad: The price of sugar in this country has reached 115 rupees per kilogram. According to statistics from the Pakistani Bureau of Statistics, residents of Peshawar are sold to the country’s most expensive sugar.

So far, the government’s measures to reduce sugar prices have proven to be ineffective, and sugar prices across the country have continued to rise. The current price is 115 rupees per kilogram.

Sugar is being sold at Rs 110 per kg in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Karachi, Sialkot and Gujranwala, while in Lahore, Sargodha, Multan, Bahawalpur and Hyderabad it is being sold at Rs 105. Its price is set at Rs 102 in Faisalabad and Khuzdar and Rs 100 per kg in Sukkur.
