Islamabad: The submission of nomination documents for the Senate election begins today (Friday).
Candidates can also submit nomination documents to the Returning Officer on Saturday.
According to detailed information, the names of the nominated candidates will be announced on February 14, and the subsequent review process will be from February 15 to February 16.
February 17 and February 18 have been set as the date of appeal against acceptance or rejection of the nomination. The appeal will be handled by the arbitration tribunal on February 19 and February 20.
The revised list of candidates will be released on February 21, and February 22 will be the final date to withdraw candidates.
The voting time is from 0900 to 1600 hours on March 3, and the voting place will be the Parliament Building, the federal capital of Islamabad, the Provincial Assembly Building, Lahore for Punjab, the Provincial Assembly Building, Karachi for Sindh, and the Provincial Assembly Building. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, KP and Provincial Assembly Building in Peshawar, and Quetta in Luchi Province.
