Karachi: A dilapidated six-storey building on the old timber market of the Haji camp in Karachi collapsed on Monday.
According to reports, 21 units of the collapsed building were abandoned after being notified by the relevant authorities. Residents were relocated elsewhere.
Earlier today, police blocked the road to facilitate traffic because of a building that could collapse at any time.
Media reports showed that the front of the Salman Soomro building, president of the timber market, was bent from the front. No injuries have been reported so far.
On the other hand, the anti-occupation force carried out a large-scale operation of the entire Sindh aggression operation and captured 10 hectares of government-owned land in the western district.
