Sindh reports 12 deaths, 812 newly infected COVID-19 cases


Karachi: Sindh province has reported 812 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of the province to 294,237.

The Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, said in his daily statement on the Covid-19 situation that another 12 coronavirus patients died overnight and will die The number has increased to 4,765, and 812 new cases occurred during the 12,675 tests.

He added that so far, 3,792,480 tests have been carried out and 294,237 cases have been confirmed, of which 92.4% or 271,581 cases have recovered, including 871 cases.

CM said that there are currently 17,891 patients receiving treatment, of which 17,181 patients are in isolation, and another 710 patients are receiving treatment in different hospitals. He added that 666 patients were reported to be in critical condition, including 62 who had changed their ventilators.

According to the statement, of the 812 new cases found in Karachi, 165 were in the east, 148 in the south, 28 in Maril, 72 in the middle, 16 in Korangi, and 12 in the west.

Hyderabad reported 91 cases, 14 in Larkana, 72 in Gochki, 35 in Shikarpur, 15 in Mirburkas, 20 in Tando Mohamed Khan, and 13 in Matiyari , Haierpur 18 cases, Mirbulkas 15 cases, Shehid Benazirabad 5 cases, Sukkur 9 cases and Kashmore 13 cases.
