Sindh News Minister Nasir Hussain Shah urged the public on Friday to follow government orders, as the province has tightened restrictions to stem the spread of the new coronavirus.
Shah was quoted in a letter yesterday saying that if people continue to ignore government instructions about the blockade, there is no other way than to act in accordance with the law.
The provincial minister said the decision to block Sindh province was implemented under the most compelling state. He added that people should not consider it a curfew, but that the government should fulfill its duty of care to the citizens.
The minister insisted that by staying at home you can protect not only yourself, but also your family and others from the virus.
He said the Prime Minister was concerned and quickly made all necessary decisions to protect Sindhi from the disease.
