Accompanied by PTI legislators and party workers, the minister rode a motorcycle through the streets of Burns Road, Gulshan Iqbal and Gulistan-e-Jauhar to inspect the city’s ongoing federally funded development projects, sports fields, and road maintenance projects. schedule.
When talking with reporters, Assad Omar said that the federal government led by PTI is fighting against the encroachment of the mafia in Karachi to restore the glory of the city.
He said that PTI is actually working in places that the Sindh provincial government cannot accept, because the Sindh provincial government completely ignores this metropolis. “For CM Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, why the federal government is carrying out development projects on the streets and avenues of Karachi is unbearable.”
Asad Umar said that Sindh is part of the country and the people should also receive funds for their welfare.

PTI MPA Khurrum Sher Zaman, on the occasion, said in past, legislators used to take commissions/bribes from contractors, however, things had completely changed now. He said traders were also taken on board for carrying out development works including road repair, installation of street lights and improvement of sewerage system in Burns Road area.
He said although it was the job of provincial government but federal government had not left the citizens of Karachi on mercy of Pakistan Peoples Party.
