Sindh govt changes SOPs for market timings amid lockdown


Karachi: The Sindh government has changed the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for market timings after easing coronavirus lockdown.

The revised notice issued by the Ministry of the Interior of Sindh states that according to the SOP, the market can be opened between 6:00 am and 4:00 pm The latest order shortens the time of business activities by one hour.

It is reported that the enterprise will last for four days in a week, and advise the public not to go out unnecessarily from 5:00 pm to 6:00 am

Earlier on Sunday, the Chief Minister of Syed Murad Ali Shah in Sindh announced the opening of the market in the province from Monday (today).

Shah (Shah) announced at a press conference that all markets in the province will be open except shopping centers. The chief minister said that according to standard operating procedures, the store will open from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The Chief Minister of Sindh emphasized that traders will be responsible for the implementation and compliance with SOPs. He urged special attention to maintain social distance. “If the number of coronavirus infections increases further, we must make a stricter decision.”

The Chief Minister said that Sindh had reported about 12,000 Covid-19 positive cases.

Morad Ali Shah said: “In this case, we must make a strict decision to keep the society alienated during prayer.”

He said that about 1,100 positive cases of coronavirus were reported in the province yesterday, and 700 cases were reported today.
