Sindh Minister of Education and Labor Saeed announced on Tuesday that his coronavirus has been tested positive.
Ghani said in a video message on Twitter that he had been tested a day ago and it turned out to be positive.
However, the minister explained that he did not feel any virus-related symptoms and was healthy, but stressed that he had isolated himself since the test was positive.
“If anyone of my friends and acquaintances feels the symptoms, then please get tested and isolate,” Ghani said, referring to the people who had met him over the past few days.
The minister also urged citizens to seriously consider and comply with the government’s decision on the blockade. He urged everyone to stay at home so that a pandemic spread over Pakistan.
When Gani announced the news, six people had died from the virus, with 882 cases confirmed.
