Karachi: The second day of the city lockdown continued on Sunday. Due to the soaring positive rate in big cities, markets and businesses are still closed.
A Similar weekend lockdown has also been imposed in Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and several other cities.
Earlier on Saturday, provincial government extended coronavirus related restrictions for another two weeks.
Anti-coronavirus Task Force, under the chair of Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, also decided to extend closure of schools and other educational institutions till June 6.
The meeting also agreed to reduce the opening hours of the market to 6 pm, and at the same time to close all leisure venues (including sea views and parks) for 14 days.
