ISLAMABAD: Queen Maxima of the Netherlands will visit Pakistan from November 25 to 27 as special advocate of the UN Secretary-General for Inclusive Financing for Development (UNSGSA). Queen Maxima visits Pakistan at the invitation of the government.
According to a statement received from the Pakistani embassy in The Hague on Friday, Queen Maxima will discuss progress in obtaining financial services to improve the economic status of the country’s residents during the visit.
Queen Maxima is particularly concerned about the importance of financial services for women. Only 7% of them have bank accounts and need gender-based data collection to understand their specific access and usage needs.
