Lahore: After Punjab reported three new cases in the province on Tuesday morning, the number of confirmed new cases of coronavirus in the country rose to 887.
According to Usman Buzdar, Prime Minister of Punjab, there were 176 confirmed cases in Dera Ghazi Khan, 51 in Lahore and Gujrat) In 5 cases, Gujranwala in 6 cases, Jhelum in 3 cases, Rawalpindi and Multan in 2 cases, Faisalabad in 1 case Mandi Bahauddin, Rahim Yar Khan and Sargodha.
The chief minister also urged citizens to stay indoors and help in containing the virus as the province begins a 14-day lockdown.
To date, Sindh remains the country most affected by the coronavirus, with a total of 394 cases of coronavirus. In Karachi alone, the number of cases of the virus is 130, and most are “locally transmitted” cases.
