Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Tuesday that the Pakistan Justice Movement (PTI) government stole state funds to sign an expensive wheat deal.
In a statement, the leader of PML-N slammed the Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan and said that the imports of cotton, wheat and sugar were disappointing.
On the other hand, PML-N senior leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) should be held accountable because it remains silent on all scandals of the current government.
Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan, while talking to media persons, said that Chairman NAB is 76-years-old but for government his performance is satisfactory. One day it will be revealed that why the anti-graft watchdog was turning a blind eye towards government corruption, he added.
The PML-N leader further stated that the terminal installed by the government of his party could have brought 33% of the revenue to Pakistan, but this did not happen due to the LNG case.
