Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chairman and National Assembly (NA) opposition leader Sheikhbaz Sharif said on Monday that the Pakistan Justice Movement (PTI) government does not understand economic and national issues.
The leaders of PML-N stated in a statement that due to increasing inflation, the lives of the masses are facing difficulties.
Earlier, Sheikhbaz Sharif stated that the economic data provided by the government was unreliable and clearly betrayed the country.
An important meeting of the PML-N Economic Advisory Committee was held under the auspices of Party Chairman Shahbaz Sharif. Former Finance Minister Ishak Dahl also participated in the virtual meeting.
In his speech, the opposition leader called the government’s economic statistics false and unreliable, and said that it is very important to inform the people of the economic disaster the country is suffering.
When Shahbaz Sharif consulted on PML-N’s pre-budget seminar strategy on June 3, he instructed the party’s economic advisory committee to make recommendations to protect the public interest in the current situation.
He said that we must speak the truth to the country and let history be a testimony. We cannot find any excuses. He added that our first effort is to pass the anti-people budget at any cost.
“So far, everything we told the country has come true,” he said.
