PTI funding case: ECP seeks reply from scrutiny committee head

Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday sought a response from the head of the supervisory committee regarding the provision of records of Pakistan’s Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) funds.

The committee has postponed the hearing to March 30.

In a statement, Akbar S. Babar, a petitioner in the foreign funding case, asked why PTI had to hide documents and added that PTI is a political party that wants to destroy the country.
