Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) showed a bearish trend. KSE-100 closed at 40473.18 points, a negative change of 85.97 points (-0.21%) compared to 40559.15 points in the previous business day.
According to data from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSE), the total trading volume was 591,172,081, while the value of stocks traded on the day was 22,455,192,555.
As many as 405 companies have conducted stock transactions in the stock market, and out of a total of 99 gains and 286 sustained losses recorded, the stock prices of 20 companies remained unchanged on the day.
The top three companies with the largest trading volume are Haskell Gasoline (88,368,000 shares), TRG Pak Ltd (36,326,500 trading) and Pak Refinery (with trading volume) 32,346,000.
Rafhan Maize’s highest increase was 225.00 per share to close at 8175.00, while Phillip Morris Pak’s highest decline was 74.90 per share to close at 1700.00.
