Abu Dhabi: Lahore Qalandars have won the toss and opted to field against Multan Sultans in the 28th encounter of the sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.
Mohammad Rizwan leads Multan Sultan, while Lahore Qalandars is captained by Sohail Akhtar.
After winning three consecutive games, Multan Sultan ranked fourth in the PSL 2021 standings and has a chance to enter the playoffs.
On the other hand, the Lahore Qalandars have won 5 of their 9 games and are ranked 3rd in the PSL 2021 points table. The Lahore Qalandars occupied the top spot for a long time, until they lost their motivation after losing the last three games against Islamabad United, Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings.
