PSL 2020: Peshawar Zalmi field against Karachi Kings


KARACHI: Karachi Kings lost their second wicket in the ninth over of the innings when Cameron Delport was dismissed by Mohammad Mohsin on 20 off 16. Kings were at 74/2 in nine overs.

Sharjeel Khan was the first batsman to lose his wicket to Hasan Ali on 19 off 11 in the third over.


Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and decided to field against Karachi Kings at the National Stadium Karachi (NSK) in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 on Friday.

Peshawar Zalmi skipper Darren Sammy said: “A very good cricket pitch, most of our boys wanted to get a good look at it first and chase it in the end. Hopefully the players will showcase their talent. I feel at home when I am here.”

Karachi Kings captain Imad Wasim said: “We wanted to bat first as well. Runs on the board are very important. Great wicket to bat on, looks so flat. We are looking to get 170 plus runs.”

Peshawar Zalmi’s overseas players are Liam Dawson, Darren Sammy, Tom Banton and Liam Livingstone while Chadwick Walton, Cameron Delport and Chris Jordan are overseas players for Karachi Kings.
