Islamabad: After being closed for more than six months due to the coronavirus pandemic, Federal Minister of Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood announced on Tuesday that it will be nationwide starting tomorrow (September 30) Reopen the primary school.
The minister said at the press conference that this decision was made with the children’s future in mind. He told the National Command Operations Center (NCOC) meeting that all provinces have been on board.
Shafqat Mahmood said that more than 30 million students in Pakistan are receiving primary education.
He warned that action will be taken against those who fail to comply with the standard operating procedures (SOP) designed to prevent the spread of the deadly coronavirus.
