Prices of petroleum products likely go up by Rs10.50 per litre

Islamabad: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has recommended an increase in the price of petroleum products by up to Rs7 per liter from September 16.

According to a summary sent by OGRA to the oil sector, the authorities have proposed to increase gasoline prices by 1 rupees and high-speed diesel (HSD) prices by 10.50 rupees.

The regulator also proposed to increase the price of light diesel (LDO) by 5.50 rupees and the price of kerosene by 5.50 rupees per liter.

The new price-fixed for 15 days-will be announced after the approval of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
