SWABI: Police arrested five suspects in anti-terrorism court (ATC) judge Aftab Afridi murder case as raids were conducted in Khyber and Peshawar, Swabi DPO confirmed on Monday.

The DPO stated that Majid Afridi, the son of Aftab Afridi, will identify the suspect. What I want to mention here is that some unidentified armed attackers killed ATC Judge, his wife and two children on Sunday.

The incident took place at Ambar Interchange near Swabi when the judge was travelling from Swat to Islamabad. The unidentified armed men sprayed bullets on the vehicle of Aftab Afridi killing the judge, his wife and two children on the spot.

The security guard of the judge’s convoy was also injured. The body of the deceased and the injured guard were transferred to a local hospital for legal procedures. After the incident, the armed men managed to escape.
