PML-N demands Imran Khan’s resignation from office

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) held a protest in Lahore to protest the arrest of PML-N President Mian Shehbaz Sharif and put forward slogans demanding the Prime Minister Imran Khan resigned.

A large number of party members participated in Saturday’s anti-government protests, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Addressing the workers, former Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique said that we want rule of law in the country, 11 parties of PDM say Imran is not elected so now, the slogan of ‘Go Imran Go’ will be used.

He said that you have violated the honor of Punjabis by arresting Shehbaz Sharif. “What have you gained by putting us in jails”, he asked. What kind of democratic government makes false cases against this democratic opposition, Ahsan Iqbal, Rana Sanaullah, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Hamza Shehbaz all have been thrown in jail, he said.

Saad Rafique said that we have endured too much, Nawaz Sharif did not commit any crime. First, he was called a thief and now, a traitor. Those who gave their sweat and blood for the sake of the country are being called traitors.

Former Speaker of the National Assembly, Ayaz Sadiq (Ayaz Sadiq) stated that they will resign in accordance with the order of Nawaz Sharif and resign in Parliament, which is different from PTI.
