PM tasks NDMA chief, Pak Army to clean up rain-hit Karachi

Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday directed National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) chairman to reach Karachi immediately to start the clean up drive in the city in the aftermath of the rain.

The Prime Minister also asked the Pakistan Army to provide assistance after the recent heavy rains to clean up the city.

In his message on Twitter, PM Imran said: “I have asked the NDMA Chairman to go to Karachi immediately and start the clean up in the aftermath of the rain.”

“I have asked the Pak army to also help in cleaning up the city,” PM Imran said in his tweet.
