Islamabad: The Federal Cabinet met in Islamabad today (Tuesday) to discuss the country’s economic and political situation.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will chair the Federal Cabinet meeting held in the Prime Minister’s Office. The 15-point agenda will be discussed during the cabinet meeting.
According to sources, the three-point agenda for the cabinet meeting has been released. The Federal Cabinet will approve the retail price of the coronavirus vaccine.
The Federal Cabinet will also consider the summary of the Ministry of the Interior’s permit for the prohibition of carrying weapons. The cabinet will approve the memorandum of understanding between Pakistan and the Saudi Development Fund.
Sources said that the cabinet will also approve the implementation of Mandatory Service Act for the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) employees. The cabinet will also be briefed on PIA s restructuring plan.
The federal cabinet will also review requests on mutual legal requests from non-treaty countries while briefing on circular debt plan is also part of the agenda of the cabinet meeting.
A summary of special exemptions for the implementation of four fast-track projects of the Ministry of Health is also on the agenda of the federal cabinet. The cabinet will also approve appointment of Chief Executive of Pakistan Housing Authority Foundation
The Cabinet will also approve the decisions made by the Cabinet Committee on Energy (CCE) in the first two meetings. The decision of the Cabinet Legislative Committee will be approved.
