Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has summoned the federal cabinet meeting on Tuesday (March 9) to discuss the country’s economic and political situation.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will chair the Federal Cabinet meeting held in the Prime Minister’s Office. A 16-point agenda will be discussed during the cabinet meeting.
According to sources, the federal cabinet will give approval to salary and allowances of the head of the Broadsheet Commission while approval of donations to the SAARC COVID-19 emergency fund is also part of the agenda.
The federal cabinet will be briefed on the Islamabad Metro Bus project. The cabinet will also give approval to State Bank of Pakistan amendment bill while the approval of appointment of Member Finance in NEPRA Applet Tribunal is also part of agenda.
The federal cabinet will also approve draft of Pakistan Institute of Education Bill 2021. The appointment of Managing Director of NTDC will also be approved during today’s meeting.
The Cabinet will approve the decisions of the Economic Coordination Committee and the Cabinet Energy Committee. The Federal Cabinet will also approve the CPEC committee’s decision at the last meeting.
