Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Kabul on Thursday to hold talks with Afghan leaders on bilateral relations and the entire scope of the peace process.
According to the details, the Prime Minister received a guard of honor after arriving at the Presidential Palace in Afghanistan.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Adviser on Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood and senior officials were also accompanying the PM.
The prime minister’s first-ever visit to Kabul since assuming the office includes one on one meeting with President Ashraf Ghani, delegation-level talks, and a joint press stakeout.
This trip is part of regular high-level exchanges between the two neighboring countries. It will build on the continued participation between the two countries in recent months to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields.
The visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan will help build stronger and multifaceted relations between the two fraternal countries.
