Islamabad: As the country observes Eid ul-Fitr on Thursday, Prime Minister Imran Khan urged the country to strictly abide by coronavirus precautions and show sympathy to the poor during the holiday celebrations.
In his address on Eid al-Fitr, the Prime Minister welcomed the country on the annual festival and thanked Allah Almighty for blessing Ramadan.
He said that the purpose of making believers through patience and gratitude is to be aware of the suffering and hunger of others.
Recognition and sympathy for others is the true power and characteristic of human society.
“The same feeling is also characteristic of Medina, and we use this as an example.
“The same feelings were also the characteristics of State of Madina, which we follow as our role model.
He said that the world is facing the third wave of pandemic, therefore, people should be extra careful and strictly abide by anti-COVID precautions.
He added that these preventive measures also include Islamic prohibitions and teaching by Holy Prophet Muhammad (may he rest in peace).
