PIA suspends flight operation to Kabul


Karachi: In view of the changing situation in the Afghan capital, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has suspended flights to Kabul for one day.

The flag carrier plans to operate three special flights to Kabul today (Monday) to evacuate more Pakistanis and foreigners stranded in the Afghan capital.

PIA CEO Arshad Malik once stated that PIA’s three flights will bring 600 passengers from Kabul back to Islamabad. The first PIA flight was originally scheduled to depart for Kabul at 8:00 am.
