Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has asked the "safe haven" countries to immediately and unconditionally return all foreign assets that have been stolen or cannot explain their "legitimacy".

Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan said that those who flaunt their resignation now avoid submitting.

The Prime Minister expressed these views at a meeting of government and party spokespersons. The meeting reviewed the current political situation and discussed the way forward.

Article 23 of the Charter of Democracy was also discussed at the meeting. The participants stated that according to the COD signed by PML-N and PPP, both parties agreed on holding Senate elections via open ballot but now, they have backtracked on their vow.

The meeting was briefed on the ongoing operation against land mafias. The Prime Minister, while announcing to continue operations against them, said that PML-N MNAs have deep roots in the land grabbing mafias.

When talking about PDM, the prime minister said that their internal differences were enough to end the campaign. Those who resigned no longer want to resign.

The Prime Minister reiterated that no one can escape accountability and he himself provided evidence in court. The Prime Minister said that the head of PDM and JUI-F Maulana Fazlur Rehman did not appear at NAB because he did not have an answer.
