Payments under the Ehsaas program are made through a biometric system: Sania

Islamabad: Sania Nishtar, special assistant to the Prime Minister for Poverty Reduction and Social Protection, announced on Monday that the Israeli plan Ehsaas Kifalat will be launched on January 31 by Prime Minister Imran Khan (Imran Khan).

The special assistant said at a press conference that payments under the Ehsaas plan will be made through biometrics and advanced digital systems to prevent hacking.

She added that while the number of women counters was being increased, an appropriate banking system was introduced.

She further said that 800,000 people had been eliminated from Benazir’s income support plan.
