Islamabad: Compared with other countries in the region and the world, Pakistan’s oil prices are currently the lowest, which shows that the government is determined to provide the greatest relief to the masses.
According to latest statistics, the petroleum prices in Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, India, Germany, and the United Kingdom are much higher than Pakistan.
Petrol price in Pakistan is point seventy (.70) US dollar while in India it is 1.26 US dollar, China 1.03, Nepal 0.95, Bangladesh 1.05, Sri Lanka 0.83, Germany 1.64, and UK 1.70 dollars.
The government is focusing on welfare of the people while determining the petroleum prices in the country. Prime Minister Imran Khan has already rejected the summary for revision of petrol prices for three times in a row.
Compared with the previous Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan People’s Party governments, Pakistan’s Tehreek-e-Insaf government has set the lowest oil prices.
