Pakistan reports 3,747 coronavirus cases, 61 deaths in 24 hours

Pakistan’s confirmed COVID-19 cases cross 900,000 mark


Lahore: Pakistan has reported 74 deaths from the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours, and the number of positive cases has soared to 900,552. On Sunday, the nationwide death toll jumped to 20,251.

According to the latest data from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 3,084 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Provincial details

In terms of the number of deaths and the number of cases, Punjab is still the most affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 9,768 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 4,909 in Sindh, 3,924 in KP, 745 in Islamabad, 528 in Azad Kashmir, 270 in Balochistan, and 107 in GB.

Furthermore 333,971 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 308,118 in Sindh, 129,413 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 80,312 in Islamabad, 24,517 in Balochistan, 18,739 in Azad Kashmir and 5,482 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Pakistan has so far conducted 12,779,296 coronavirus tests and 62,061 tests in the past 24 hours. The country has recovered 817,681 patients and 4,392 patients in critical condition.
