TASHKHENT: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry says the international conference being held in Tashkhent on Friday is aimed at promoting regional connectivity.
In an interview in Tashkent on Friday, he said that more than 60 countries participated in the meeting.
The minister said that heads of state and foreign ministers from different countries gathered in Tashkent to discuss ways to strengthen regional trade and economy.
Fawad Chaudhry said that Pakistan wants peace in Afghanistan so that our regional connectivity can be improved and we are connected to Central Asia.
He said that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan’s efforts to this end are still continuing and this will be a success.
