Islamabad: Pakistan firmly condemns the extrajudicial killing of Kashmiris in the false encounter killings of Cha Jam and Kashmir under illegal occupation in India, and imposes restrictions on religious gatherings and demonstrations.
In a statement on Saturday, Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Zahid Hafez Chowdhury strongly condemned the killing of four other Kashmiris during the encounter between China and France in the Shopian area of Ioikok.
He said that also condemned are restrictions on religious demonstrations and gatherings in Muharram.
Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri stated that India’s inhumane means of conquering the Kashmiri people through killing, torture, enforced disappearance and imprisonment have failed in the past and will not succeed in the future.
He urged the international community to hold India accountable for the serious crimes committed against the people of Kashmir.
The spokesperson reiterated that Pakistan is committed to exposing India’s illegal and unacceptable actions in its illegal actions and fully supports the Kashmiris’ just struggle for the inalienable right of self-determination.
