Karachi: The Pakistani stock exchange (PSX) continued to decline on Thursday as the KSE-100 index plummeted more than 1,700 points and lost the psychological barrier of 29,000 points.
Based on the data, the index decreased by 1,725 points to 28,664 points. After the tragedy, trading was suspended for 45 minutes, the sixth time in ten days that business operations have been suspended.
The PSX also showed a bearish trend on Wednesday, with the KSE-100 index closing at 30,416.05 points, with a negative change of 2,200.88 points (6.75%).
A total of 186,654,400 shares were traded, compared to 240,379,240 shares the previous day, while the value of the traded shares on that day was Rs 5,308 crore, compared to Rs 1,294 crore on the last trading day.
