Islamabad: Pakistan has sent an important report to the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) concerning the progress of the Financial Action Task Force on the implementation of recommendations.
Lubna Farooq, director of the General Directorate of Financial Supervision, said that relevant agencies are working together to achieve this goal.
According to the detailed situation, Pakistan notified the Financial Action Task Force of important developments and made four major amendments to the law based on the recommendations of the Special Organization and the United Nations.
Lubna Farooq said that Pakistan has enacted important legislation for the Anti-Money Laundering Financial Action Task Force, and relevant agencies are working together to achieve this goal.
Dr. Ramesh Kumar said that the sooner legislation on FATF goals is enacted, the better.
The government has implemented 14 of FATF’s 27 action points, and the government is also working hard to achieve the remaining 40 goals.
