Pakistan seeks exit from Britain’s ‘red’ list

LONDON: Pakistan has asked the British government to remove its name from England’s “red” list, Pakistan High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Moazzam Ahmed Khan said Thursday, following the latest review by Britain of its travel curbs.

Passengers on the red list are required to undergo an expensive 10-day hotel quarantine upon arrival. The Indian Ocean territories of Georgia, Mexico, and France, La Reunion and Mayotte, have also been moved to the Red List.

In addition, passengers from redlisted countries need to be tested for COVID-19 before entering the UK-children 10 years and younger do not need to be tested.
