Balochistan reports 123 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours

Pakistan reports 663 coronavirus cases, 27 deaths in 24 hours


Lahore: As the number of positive cases soared to 949,838, Pakistan has reported 27 deaths from the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours. On Tuesday, the national death toll jumped to 22,034.

According to the latest data from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 663 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Details of each province

In terms of death toll and cases, Punjab province remains the most affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 10,659 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 5,344 in Sindh, 4,274 in KP, 775 in Islamabad, 573 in Azad Kashmir, 301 in Balochistan, and 108 in GB.

Furthermore 345,141 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 332,677 in Sindh, 137,147 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 82,394 in Islamabad, 26,673 in Balochistan, 19,979 in Azad Kashmir and 5,827 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

To date, Pakistan has conducted 14,187,441 coronavirus tests and 39,017 tests in the past 24 hours. The country has recovered 894,352 patients, while 2,179 patients are in critical condition.
