Pakistan reports 3,785 coronavirus cases, 118 deaths in 24 hours

Pakistan reports 4,468 COVID-19 new cases, highest since July 2020


LAHORE: Pakistan has reported 30 deaths from the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours, and the number of positive cases has soared to 649,824. The death toll nationwide on Saturday has jumped to 14,158.

According to the latest data from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 4468 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Provincial details

In terms of death toll, Punjab is still the most affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 264,355 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 210,095 in Punjab 83,630 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 55,056 in Islamabad, 19,453 in Balochistan, 12,245 in Azad Kashmir and 4,990 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore 6,190 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 4,487 in Sindh, 2,274 in KP, 557 in Islamabad, 342 in Azad Kashmir, 205 in Balochistan, and 103 in GB.

Pakistan has so far conducted 10,021,070 coronavirus tests and 44,279 tests in the past 24 hours. The country has recovered 593,282 coronavirus patients, while 2,842 patients are in critical condition.
